Have you ever been playing Pokemon GO (or really any Pokemon game for that matter), and thought to yourself “Wow, I can’t be assed to memorize all of these type advantages/disadvantages!” Well, I did. So, I ended up building a web app that handles it for you!
What does it do?
Not too much to write here to be honest. It uses PokeAPI and basically compares the effectiveness of all of your Pokemon’s moves to each of your opponents pokemon, then ranks them on their effectiveness.
Sounds great! How do I use it?
As with basically any of my projects, it’s FOSS and available on my GitHub (directly linked in this post.) You can download it and run it locally. Otherwise, its hosted on PythonAnywhere.com under the following link. Let me know if it ever goes down please, as I need to press a button every 3 months to keep it on with the free plan and I’m probably gonna forget. Have fun!
